Microscopic description (Мікроскопічний опис): The preparations of the fluid sediment contain protein and salt detritus, partly lysed erythrocytes, a small number of lymphocytes, macrophages, and clusters of mesothelial cells with reactive and degenerative changes. Small clusters of cells with marked nuclear polymorphism and marked signs of atypia and malignancy (вираженими ознаками атипії та злоякісності) are seen.
Cytological conclusion (Цитологічний висновок): Diagnostic category V: signs of metastasis of a malignant process (Діагностична категорія V: Ознаки метастазування злоякісного процесу).

Notes added in translation (not part of the report)
- This form gives the year of birth as 1976, which is correct (born 25.04.1976). The pathology form of the same admission (material 4222/26, same medical card 9577) gives 1971.
- This report describes malignant cells (category V); it does not establish the tumour type, and no cell block or immunohistochemistry is reported. A review of the same slides at CSD LAB on 14.10.2026 (study 26NGC012870) did not reproduce category V: atypia of undetermined significance (AUS), dense groups of small, relatively monomorphic cells, no pleomorphic cells described, origin undeterminable without a cell block.
- The fluid was taken on 05.10.2026, the day of the diagnostic laparoscopy with gastric and liver biopsies (pathology report of 13.10.2026). The operation protocol (laparoscopic findings, volume of ascites, peritoneal nodules) is not among the documents received.
- The original contains typing errors (“BIST”, “нестатичне”, “скупчееня”, “вираденими”); the translation gives the evident meaning.
