Patient: Zherlitsyna Anastasia Stanislavivna ORDER: 22B104
Date of birth: 25.04.1976 Received: 15.12.2022
Sex: Female Executed: 06.01.2023
Service: BRCA Plus - Laboratory examinations of hereditary mutations in the genes BRCA1,
BRCA2 CHEK2 and PALB2 (NGS)
No mutations were detected
No pathogenic or likely pathogenic genetic variants associated with an increased risk of
breast, ovarian, and pancreatic cancer and other types of cancer were found in the studied
genes.
The result of this examination does not exclude the possibility of developing cancer. Inherited
mutations in genes cause some cancers, but most cancers are not hereditary and cannot be
explained by a single cause.
Mutations in the studied genes lead to certain cases of hereditary tumors, but mutations in
other genes can also increase the risk of developing cancer. Especially, if you have a personal
or family history of cancer, you can consider the option of additional genetic research that
studies a larger number of genes associated with hereditary forms of cancer. Your doctor can
help you determine whether you need further testing.
*Method: Next Generation Sequencing (NGS)
*Set: CleanPlex® Hereditary Cancer Panel v2 (Paragon Genomics, USA)
*Equipment: The Ion Proton Sequencer (Thermo Scientific, USA)
*The studied genes: BRCA1, BRCA2, CHEK2, PALB2.
*Quality control: The coverage quality of target sequences is satisfactory
* Research results are not a diagnosis and require a doctor's consultation.
